Multi-verses seem to be very popular these days anyway and Quake's slip gates would really be "the No.1" tool for an id-verse to happen. Quake is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and long-time fans have been hoping.

A new Quake game may be in the works at id Software and Machine Games if a recent rumor corroborated by the QuakeCon 2021 schedule proves to be true. Speaking of putting Quake on the map, this update adds the classic Q1-DM6 map, The Dark Zone, to Quake Champions, as well as adds a bunch of original Quake weapons to unlock and wield in-game. Moving around the map quickly and efficiently is a necessity to succeed, but the most recent Quake Champions didn’t have an exhaustive, or even rudimentary guide.
